In honor of the Winter Olympics, the Montrose Area Kiwanis Club is excited to recognize our School District’s sports athletes as the February Citizen of the Month. This celebration highlights the hard work and dedication of our youth athletes. These young competitors dedicate countless hours to practice, develop their skills, and learn the values of teamwork and sportsmanship. Binging together students from different schools, creating a sense of community, and encouraging friendly rivalries that inspire everyone involved. The athletics competition is not just about winning; it is also about building friendships and memories. Young athletes get the chance to meet new people and cheer for each other, fostering a supportive environment. They experience the thrill of competition, which boosts their confidence and helps them learn important life lessons.
