This year, in honor of America’s 250th birthday, commemorative banners are available for purchase by businesses, groups, clubs, and individuals.
The same company that produces our Hometown Hero Banners is offering these special designs. Each banner measures 30″ x 60″, and after the celebration, you’ll receive your banner back to keep as a lasting keepsake.
This is a wonderful opportunity to show your pride in both our community and our nation while celebrating America’s historic journey on July 4th.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Montrose Alumni Marching Band, helping support their participation in the July 3rd Parade in Philadelphia—the birthplace of America—during this momentous celebration of independence.

The Montrose Area Kiwanis Club is proud to recognize the wonderful contributions of the May Citizens of the Month. This month, we highlight the importance of all mothers and mother figures in our lives. Each mother, whether biological, step, or otherwise, brings love and support to their children. They help shape the future and teach important values. We honor these strong women who care deeply for those around them. Their love is vital to building a strong, caring community for everyone. Each mother figure plays a key part in raising the next generation and making the world a better place. On this Mother's Day, we celebrate every type of mother. Each woman, whether a teacher, aunt, or friend, has a unique role in shaping the future. Let us take a moment to appreciate all mothers for their hard work and endless love. They are often our first friends and remain close throughout our lives. The efforts they put in every day can sometimes go unnoticed, but they make a huge difference. Their caring nature helps to create strong bonds in families and helps raise the next generation. So, thank you to all the mothers for being such wonderful role models and friends! ...
