It's impossible to say thank you to everyone who helped celebrate our July 4th in Montrose, but I want to recognize some special heroes from today’s parade. Four World War II veterans were honored as grand marshals, showing our respect and gratitude for their bravery. Additionally, Susquehanna County Sheriff Lance Benedict, who has served for twenty-four years, will be the honorary grand marshal. Their dedication and service remind us of the true spirit of this holiday and the freedom we celebrate.

Each group worked tirelessly to ensure the celebration went smoothly and was enjoyable for all. However, the true heroes are the people of our community. Your support means everything and makes these events special. Thank you everyone! ... See MoreSee Less
